Finnigan

I loved painting this image of Finn. I used several shots to compose this view of him.
It was my first time using Aquaboard and I really enjoyed using it. It's so smooth and forgiving.

Winthrop

This is the ever changing view from our room at the River Run Inn in Winthrop, WA
Looks like the dog is looking for his owner who recently vacated the hammock.

Along The Cascade Loop

So many beautiful vistas. It was difficult to know when to stop taking photos.
This was a quick watercolor while stopping along the way.

Trading Cards

It was decided to make artists' trading cards this year to benefit "Big Brothers and Sisters" organization. These cards will be hung from Christmas trees, then the trees will be auctioned off.
These are my offerings.

Winter on Whidbey

This latest painting is one of the winter greeting cards chosen by ASW to fund our scholarship program.
We were snowshoeing along the Holmes Harbor Golf Course.

From the Figure Drawing Group

I have joined a figure drawing group here in Langley. This is one of our models. She is so good at what she does. I hope I can do as well drawing her!

The View from Gene's Livingroom

My friend Gene has a great house with a wonderful view of Admiralty Inlet. From this window he can watch the cargo ships and oceanliners ply the passage.
Our art group was invited to Gene's to paint recently and this is what I sketched. Thanks, Gene!

Along The Cascade Loop

There are many things to photograph and paint along Washington's Cascade Loop. The best time to take the trip is in the fall.
This year my friend from the midwest came out and we took our time stopping and taking pictures along the way.
